Made a gorgeous cheese and potato pie tonight for me and the children. Simple recipe but delicious and very reminiscent of the past. Coming home after a day at school to this treat ideally served with baked beans! All it needs is mash potato knob of butter and any cheese that you have knocking around that needs using up . Great the cheese add to the mashed potato and bacon the oven till golden brown on top . Ideally save some of the grated cheese for the top of the potato for the extra cheesy brownie crust .
